Brian Wayne Nelson arrested in DUI accident

Tragic accident that occurred on August 4 in Fillmore, Minnesota. Cale Jackson lost his life in a collision with a suspected intoxicated driver along County Road 30. Preliminary findings suggest that Jackson was struck by a vehicle. At the scene, authorities arrested 50-year-old Brian Wayne Nelson on charges of criminal vehicular homicide and suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Nelson's blood sample will be tested to determine his alcohol levels. He is currently detained without bond. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
