Carlos Garcia Killed In Bellmead, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on April 8 in Bellmead, Texas. Carlos Garcia was one of two people who lost their lives when their vehicle was hit by an alleged drunken driver that was stopped on the shoulder of Highway 84. 26-year-old Isaias Martinez Resendez, slammed into the Honda. The impact caused both vehicles to travel down an embankment. One of the deceased victims was identified as Carlos Garcia. Troopers observed multiple signs of intoxication and arrested Resendez. After being medically cleared from the hospital, he was booked into McLennan County Jail. The accident remains under investigation by DPS.
