Carol Phillips Injured In Smith, TX Accident

Collision along Farm to Market 1253 and Highway 80

Tragic accident that occurred on January 20 in Smith, Texas. Carol Phillips was seriously injured when the car that she was a passenger in collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Highway 80 and Farm-to-Market 1253. Phillips was traveling in a Chevy Impala driven by an 89-year-old man that allegedly failed to yield the right of way., colliding with a Ford Mustang. Phillips was taken to UT Health Main in Tyler with incapacitating injuries. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
