Police car struck on Bartholdi Avenue

Tragic accident that occurred on July 26 in Butler, New Jersey. Charles Dampman left a passenger seriously injured when he struck a police car head on. Charles was charged with DWI after driving at an excessive speed when he veered into the opposing lane and struck the car. A passenger in the SUV, whose name hasn't been mentioned, suffered serious injuries.  Dampman faces a slew of charges, including DWI, reckless driving, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and endangering another person.
