Tragic accident that occurred on August 10 in Franklin, Missouri. Chelsea L. Smith and a 5-year-old boy were tragically killed in a chain reaction crash caused by a tractor-trailer on westbound Interstate 44. The accident occurred when a semi-truck approached stopped traffic and hit a Toyota Avalon, setting off a chain reaction accident. Smith and the young boy were killed in the crash, which remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
