Christopher M. Silvers was tragically killed when his motorcycle was struck by an alleged drunk driver, 22-year-old Carly A. Rudolph, at Northeast Todd George Parkway. A witness told authorities that the SUV did not entirely stop at a stop sign before it entered an intersection and struck Silvers. Silvers was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. According to the prosecutor's office, Rudolph admitted to an officer that she had been smoking from a THX cartridge and consuming alcohol before the accident. Rudolph has been charged with second-degree involuntary manslaughter. The accident remains under investigation.
