David Downs Involved In San Luis Obispo, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on July 30th in San Luis Obispo, California. A 63-year-old man was tragically killed in a crash when the Volkswagen that he was traveling in was hit by a Chevrolet driven by David Downs on Tank Farm Road. The Chevy crossed the opposing lane of traffic, causing a collision. Downs was arrested on suspicion of charges of murder, gross vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of a drug causing injury or death. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
