DeAngelo Polk Killed In Stockbridge, NY Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on October 20 in Stockbridge, New York. DeAngelo Polk was tragically killed in an accident with a drunk driver when a Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by a 19-year-old man ran a stop sign at Peterboro Road and State Route 46. The pickup collided with Polk’s Dodge Dakota pickup, causing it to hit the side of a home. Polk was taken to Wynn Hospital in Utica, where he was pronounced dead. The 19-year-old's blood alcohol content was .09%, according to a breath test, and the pickup he was driving was allegedly stolen. He has been charged with vehicular manslaughter, endangering the welfare of a child, driving while intoxicated, along with several traffic violations.
