Deshawn Horne faces several charges, including vehicle theft, in a crash that injured a pedestrian at Commerce Street and Rep. John Lewis Way. Two teens were charged after occupying a Kia Sportage that struck the pedestrian and a street sign and a fire hydrant before crashing into a building. The pedestrian, whose name hasn't been released, was hospitalized. Deshawn was charged with vehicle theft, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, failure to render aid, driving without a license or insurance, and drug possession. A 17-year-old female passenger was charged with vehicle theft, failure to render aid and leaving the scene of an accident.
