Destiny Cortinas Killed In Corpus Christi, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on December 29th in Corpus Christi, Texas. Destiny Cortinas was tragically killed when the vehicle that she was a passenger in crashed with a driver allegedly under the influence. Cortinas, who was pregnant, was traveling in a car that accelerated in a parking lot on the 7100 block of South Padre Island Drive and hit a building. Cortinas was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery but tragically later died. An emergency C-section was performed, and the infant was last reported to be in stable condition.   According to a police report, the driver appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance. The driver is expected to be arrested after being released from the hospital. We send our thoughts and prayers to the heartbroken family of the victim.
