Deston Montgomery Charged In Byron, IL Accident

DUI accident on East Water Road

Tragic accident that occurred on June 8 in Byron, Illinois. 22-year-old Deston Montgomery was charged with DUI after he and a passenger in his vehicle were seriously injured in a high-speed collision in the 2000 block of East Water Road. The crash occurred when he lost control, veered across the roadway, and slammed into a tree. Montgomery, who sustained life-threatening injuries, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, and driving too fast for conditions. A woman in the vehicle was badly hurt. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
