Eileen Flaherty Killed In Volusia, FL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on April 2 in Volusia, Florida. Eileen Flaherty was killed and her husband injured after they were struck by a vehicle while walking their dog on a sidewalk. The motorist attempted to pick up a bag that fell and, in the process, lost control of the car. He swerved into another lane and onto the sidewalk, striking the duo. The woman, 63-year-old Eileen Flaherty, died at the scene. Deputies said the charges are pending in the case as the investigation continues.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
