Jacob Martinez Killed In Midland, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday March 18th at about 2:39 A.M. in Midland, Texas. Jacob Miranda Martinez was sadly killed when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the 10000 block of W. Highway 80. Reports indicate that Mr. Martinez' 2009 Honda was found on the south service road and it was determined his eastbound car had collided with another vehicle that fled the scene. Sadly, Mr. Martinez died at the scene. MPD is asking witnesses to call 432-685-7108 or Midland Crime Stoppers at 694-TIPS. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
