Among his injuries are a broken leg and severe facial injuries. He was transported to UAB. The driver fled the scene and Jacoby's family is asking that the driver come forward. Solomon Curry, a pastor at Grace Temple Holiness Church across the street from the accident, said vehicles often speed down the street. He called for speed bumps to be installed in an effort to slow down drivers.
