James Palmour was injured when his SUV and motorcycle were involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer. Palmour was driving a motorcycle south on U.S. Highway 87 when a tractor-trailer failed to control speed and hit the SUV. The impact of the initial collision caused the SUV to strike the motorcycle. James suffered non-incapacitating injuries and was transported to Shannon for treatment. His wife, who was driving the SUV was also injured, and his two-year-old daughter died.
