James Smith Killed In Dallas, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on December 3 in Dallas, Texas. James Smith lost his life when he was run down while attempting to board his vehicle as it was being towed in the 10000 block of Shoreview Road. Investigators determined that a tow truck, driven by 25-year-old Roberto Padilla, was removing a vehicle from the lot. Smith attempted to enter the vehicle's driver's side but fell and was run over. Smith was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to injuries. Padilla was found later at Dallas Auto Pound. He was booked into the Dallas County Jail on suspicion of manslaughter.
