Jenica Campbell was tragically killed when she was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle after coming to the aid of a motorcyclist. 37-year-old Michael Kraft struck a motorcyclist with his Jaguar along Route 46. As Ms. Campbell came to the aid of the motorcycle, Kraft made a U-turn. He crossed the median, traveled back into the eastbound lanes, and struck Ms. Campbell and the biker a second time. Sadly, Ms. Campbell and the motorcyclist both died from injuries sustained in the crash. Kraft was arrested on two counts each of leaving the scene of a crash with fatal injuries, hit-and-run failure to remain at a crash, vehicular homicide, and one count of refusal to submit to DUI test after license is suspended. Ms. Campbell leaves behind a husband and four daughters, ages 17, 14, 12, and 10. A GoFundMe has been created to help the victims survivors.
