Jessilyn Johnson Injured In Brookhaven, NY Accident

Rollover ATV crash at Bellport Ave.

Tragic accident that occurred on June 10 in Brookhaven, New York. Jessilyn Johnson was seriously injured in a rollover ATV accident involving an alleged impaired motorist along Bellport Avenue. Johnson, hit her head on the roadway in the crash and was severely injured. She was flown to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment. The 29-year-old man driving sustained minor injuries and was taken to Long Island Community Hospital. He was later released and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and reckless endangerment. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
