Jesus Rodriguez Arrested In Palm Desert, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on November 5th in Palm Desert, California. Jesus Rodriguez was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and felony hit-and-run after a collision that claimed the life of a pedestrian. The collision happened at the intersection of University Avenue and Main Street. A silver Honda Civic was traveling east when it struck a pedestrian in a crosswalk. The driver immediately fled from the scene. The victim was transported to Riverside Community Hospital where he succumbed to injuries. Authorities did not release his identification. “The suspect was later located by Riverside sheriff’s deputies in San Jacinto,” Riverside police said. “The driver, identified as Jesus Rodriguez, was found to be intoxicated.” The crash remains under investigation.
