Jose Perez Estevez Injured In Westchester, FL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on December 8 in Westchester, Florida. Jose G. Perez Estevez was seriously injured when the van that he was a passenger in was struck by a pickup truck that ran a stop sign at SW 21st Terrace and SW 92nd Avenue. Perez Estevez was taken to HCA Kendall Hospital Trauma Center in critical condition. Minutes before the crash, a Miami-Dade School Board officer was alerted to a possible threat in progress at the On-the-Go Market at 8200 SW 24th Street, where the driver allegedly refused to stop for the officer who was attempting a traffic stop with emergency equipment before losing sight of the suspect. The driver was later apprehended and charged with driving without a license that caused a deadly crash, fleeing the scene of a deadly crash and property damage.
