Julie Casey Killed In Potter, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, February 10th in Potter, Texas. Julie Casey was tragically killed in a crash with a reckless driver on State Highway 136. 73-year-old Larry Casey was driving a GMC northbound when it was struck by a Chevy Tahoe that failed to drive in a single lane and crossed over into the path of the GMC. Larry Casey made an evasive lane change into the southbound lane of travel but was clipped by the Tahoe. The GMC then slid off the roadway and spun around before coming to rest upright in the west ditch facing west. The DPS reported stated that there had been a report of a reckless driver fleeing the scene of a hit and run crash minutes prior to the crash. Witnesses provided statements identifying the driver of the Tahoe fleeing the scene of the hit and run. Sadly, Julie Casey was pronounced dead at the scene.
