Julyssa Roaro Injured In Harris, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on October 24 in Harris, Texas. Julyssa Roaro was seriously injured when she was struck by a hit-and-run motorist while walking to school along Ella Boulevard, with her younger brother. She was struck by a motorist who fled the scene. The 17-year-old driver involved slammed into a ditch near Spears Road a short time after the initial crash and was subsequently apprehended by authorities. The teenager faces a felony charge of failing to stop and render aid with additional charges possible. The incident remains under investigation.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
