Lakendra Mathis Injured In Grimes, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on April 1 in Grimes, Texas. Lakendra Mathis was seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash along Highway 249. The crash occurred when a Toyota crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic, collided with a southbound 2016 Ford Taurus, which was subsequently struck by a 2019 Chevrolet pickup truck. A passenger in the Ford, Lakendra was seriously injured. The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
