Tragic accident that occurred on February 14 in Bakersfield, California. Lucy Martinez was injured and her passenger died in a collision with a pickup truck on Highway 65. 53-year-old William Pederson was headed north in a Dodge Ram pickup truck when he crossed the centerline of the highway near Famoso Road. Martinez's passenger died in the wreck. CHP said alcohol was suspected to play a role in the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
