Mandy Rollins was tragically killed in a collision between a passenger sedan and a tractor-trailer along State Highway 146 in Liberty County. The crash occurred when a Peterbilt tractor-trailer towing a bulldozer was traveling south and slowed to make a turn into a private driveway. That is when it was struck in the rear by a Mercury Grand Marquis. Troopers said the Mercury disregarded a stop sign along Farm-to-Market 787. Rollins, who was the front-seat passenger in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
