Tragic crash happened at about 6:36 p.m. at Washington Palm Drive and FM 2221


Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, December 11 at around 6:36 PM in Penitas Texas. 24-year-old Marco Mendoza was sadly killed when the GMC he was a passenger in crashed on Washington Palm Drive. The pick up truck was northbound when it ran a stop sign, and went airborne through an intersection striking a 22-year-old female pedestrian walking on the edge of the road. The pedestrian whose name has not been released is in stable condition As well as the driver, and two other passengers. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
