Marlene Forrest Killed In Houston, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on November 2 in Houston, Texas. Marlene Forrest died in a motor vehicle crash on the service road for I-45. The crash occurred when she stopped her black Toyota Corolla at a red light and was struck by a gray Nissan Rogue whose driver failed to control speed. Forrest was pronounced dead at the scene by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics. Investigators determined the driver was impaired and he was subsequently charged with intoxication manslaughter and possession of a controlled substance. Once treated and released from the hospital, he will be booked into the Harris County Jail. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
