Mary Barker Charged In High Point, NC Accident

Tractor trailer accident along US 29/70

 Tragic accident that occurred on May 31 in High Point, North Carolina. Mary Barker was charged after a serious injury tractor-trailer crash along U.S. 29/70. The wreck occurred when a Lexus, driven by 52-year-old Mary, merged into the right travel lane and collided with a tractor-trailer. As a result, the tractor-trailer went off the roadway, struck a bridge abutment and caught fire. The truck driver, a 61-year-old High Point man, was seriously injured and was transported to an area hospital. Barker was charged with unsafe movement and exceeding the posted speed.
