Mauro Mendoza Santos Killed In San Antonio, TX Accident

Crash on US Highway 281

Tragic accident that occurred on March 21 in San Antonio, Texas. Mauro Mendoza Santos was killed when he was hit by a vehicle while changing a tire on U.S. Highway 281. Santos was operating a Ford F-350 pickup truck with a trailer attached, when he stopped to assist the driver of a Dodge Dart change a tire. Around that time, a southbound Toyota 4Runner crested a nearby hill, collided with the trailer attached to the Ford, and careened into the Dodge. After impact, the Dodge then hit a Mazda 5.  Santos was struck during the crash, launched off of a nearby bridge, and sadly declared deceased at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
