Tragic accident that occurred on December 3 in Chickasaw, Iowa. Paloma Ortiz was injured in a single-vehicle crash along U.S. 18 when the driver of a Nissan lost control, entered a ditch, and overturned, crashing through a power pole. Ortiz was taken to Floyd County Medical Center. The accident remains under investigation by ISP. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim
