Ray Antonio Lopez Arrested In Cleveland, OH Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on November 9 in Cleveland, Ohio. Ray Antonio Lopez was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left three people with injuries. A police officer attempted a traffic stop after spotting a 1999 Honda Civic with multiple equipment violations. The driver of the Honda pulled into a McDonald's parking lot, circled the building, and then fled north on Pearl Road. The Honda collided with a 2003 Buick Century at State Road. The Honda driver, later identified as Ray Antonio Lopez, fled on foot but tripped and fell. Officers were able to then apprehend the suspect. Lopez was subsequently arrested by Cleveland police on unspecified charges. The matter remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
