Robert Flaherty Injured In Volusia, FL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on April 2 in Volusia, Florida. Robert Flaherty was injured and his wife killed after they were struck by a vehicle while walking their dog on a sidewalk. The motorist attempted to pick up a bag that fell and, in the process, lost control of the car. He swerved into another lane and onto the sidewalk, striking the duo. The woman died at the scene and 55-year-old Robert Flaherty, was taken to the hospital. Deputies said the charges are pending in the case as the investigation continues.
