Rodrigo Hernandez was tragically struck and killed by an alleged hit-and-run driver in the 200 block of East Parkridge Avenue. Investigators said that the driver who hit Hernandez fled the scene but the vehicle was later located in the 300 block of North McKinley Street with damage consistent with the collision. The 53-year-old driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol but was later released.
