Suzette Arce was hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident involving an alleged impaired driver, 34-year-old Thomas Christman. Thomas was driving South on Salina Street when he slammed into a 2010 Chevrolet in front of the Salt City Market. After impact, he continued on and crashed into the market building. Arce was injured in the crash and transported to Upstate University Hospital for treatment. Authorities determined Christman was under the influence at the time of the crash and charged him with driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, along with various traffic-related infractions.
