Tamia Costello Killed In Hazel Crest, IL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on August 4 in Hazel Crest, Illinois. Tamia Costello lost her life after she was struck by two hit-and-run drivers at the intersection of 173rd Street and Kedzie Avenue. Reports indicated that both drivers failed to stop after hitting the victim. Costello was found unresponsive in the northbound lanes and was immediately given aid by officers and witnesses. She was then rushed to the hospital but unfortunately, succumbed to her injuries. Further investigation revealed that the first vehicle involved was a white SUV and the second was a black sedan.  The Hazel Crest police are appealing to anyone with information or video footage of the incident to come forward and assist with their investigation.
