Tamya Gayton was injured after being hit by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene near the intersection of 12th Avenue and 78th Street. The victims brother was killed and Tamya is recovering. The suspect vehicle was tracked down by officials and was found on the 1900 block of Killebrew Drive. The driver, 27-year-old Mikala Ness was arrested on charges of criminal vehicular homicide while driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of a collision, according to court documents.
