Tyler Murks Injured In Belmont, NC Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on March 5 in Belmont, North Carolina. Tyler Murks was seriously injured by an allegedly impaired motorist on South Point Road. A pickup truck with a boat attached stopped to investigate a noise coming from the vehicle. Subsequently, the two men activated the truck's hazard lights and exited the vehicle.  Soon after, an oncoming Jeep failed to slow down or avoid their path and struck the boat and both of the men. After the initial collision, the Jeep rotated, overturned, and careened into a ditch, landing on top of the victims. Murks remains hospitalized after suffering various injuries including a broken spine, leg, ankle, and ribs. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
