Virginia Raney Killed In Lamar, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on December 11 in Lamar, Texas. Virginia Raney lost her life in a motor-vehicle crash along U.S. Highway 271 when a southbound pickup truck crossed the center of the roadway and struck the left-front portion of Raney’s car. Raney was pronounced dead at the scene. DPS continues to investigate the cause of the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
