Wayne Getz Injured In Putnam, OH Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 22 in Putnam, Ohio. Wayne Getz was injured when his bicycle was struck by a hit-and-run driver along Ohio Route 66. The driver immediately fled after the collision. Getz was transported to Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima for treatment. Witnesses are asked to call the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, which is investigating the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
