Yohana Ayele Killed In Mountlake Terrace, WA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on March 12th in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. Yohana M. Ayele was tragically killed when her vehicle struck a semi-truck after swerving to avoid a mattress on Interstate 5 near 220th St. SW exit. The victim was northbound when she struck the mattress, which had fallen off a pickup truck a few minutes earlier. After hitting the mattress, the vehicle swerved in front of a tractor-trailer, which struck the car’s driver’s side door. Sadly, Ayele was pronounced dead at the scene. The State Patrol is searching for a pickup truck that lost the mattress just prior to the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
