Yolanda Shelby was tragically killed in a crash with a hit-and-run driver when a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Jarai Brady ran a red light at the intersection of Crystalbrook Drive and Loyola Lane. Shelby was rushed to a local hospital, where she later died. Authorities said that Brady fled the scene on foot after the fateful collision. Officers later found Brady and investigators said that he admitted to being involved in the crash. Brady was charged with failure to stop and render aid in an accident involving a death.
